PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor

The Emergency First Response provides PADI professionals with the knowledge and ability to conduct the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) as well as Care for Children courses. This program also makes provision for those individuals who are already qualified as First Aid Instructors to complete an Instructor Cross Over course that recognizes their training experience and concentrates on the philosophy and structure of the EFR program while building confidence in use of the EFR system of education. Non-certified divers are also welcome!

Pre-Requisites:

1. Have completed the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) course within the past 24 months
2. Have completed the Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) course within the past 24 months
3. Have completed the Emergency First Response Care for Children course within the past 24 months.

* Practicing medical professionals (e.g. paramedics, EMTs, nurses, doctors) are not required to have completed the Emergency Fist Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. Although participating in these provider-level courses is beneficial, it isn’t required since professional medical training serves as an equivalent.
